We are the sole owners of the information collected on this website. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via online submission forms, email, or other direct contact from you.

No one under the age of 13 is allowed to provide personal information to or on the ShineFund website. If you are aware of information we have on a child under the age of 13 please contact us at privacy@shinefund.org immediately so that we can delete the information as quickly as possible. Users must be over the age of 18 in order to create a campaign. If under the age of 18 a parent or legal guardian must manage a campaign on behalf of the child.

 

Sharing 

We share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

We use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for donations, goods, and services. These companies do not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.

We may share information when permitted or required by law with governmental agencies or other companies assisting in fraud prevention or investigation, to enforce our Terms of Use, to defend ourselves against third party allegations, to protect the integrity of our website, and to protect the rights, property, or safety if ShineFund and/or our users or others.

 

Registration

In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form.  During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address).  This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our website in which you have expressed interest.  At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender) about yourself, but it is not required.
